Sundar Pichai is an Indian-American business executive and CEO of Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company. He was born on July 12, 1972, in Chennai, India, and grew up in a middle-class family. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, a Master's degree in Material Sciences and Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Pichai joined Google in 2004 as a product management executive, where he was responsible for the development of Google Chrome and Chrome OS. He later served as the senior vice president of Chrome and Apps, overseeing the development of Google Drive, Gmail, and other Google Apps.
